I'm back to doing the Character of the Week activity over at conceptart.org. Last week's prompt was to design a fighting game character based around a particular time period or culture. I decided on ancient Greece and created a philosopher fighter. His attacks include punching, the Socratic method, and discerning the nature of reality.
The exaggerated foreshortening kind of works at cross-purposes against the exaggerated anatomy and going from my value study to the final took ages. Still, an okay effort. Here's a process breakdown:
